So if a company considers "Offshoring" they will lose upto 33% of business, this came out from a recent survey that my own conpany did on the effects on customers in the UK. 33% did say that if a company offshored its workforce to a very poor substitute like Asia etc then they would take their business elsewhere. The Survey was conducted with 5000 surveys being collated and assesed. In short OffShored does not create the desired affects and instead kills the revenue from rolling in. I have no issue with RACE in fact I have a few Ex-Pats from India and Pakistan on our Books but they have become cultured in the western world and even have a sense of humour but LANGUAGE BARRIERS is what offshoring presents us with. Offshoring gives the customer a Monotone experience and also the Lack of Security in these Offshored contact centres is immense. Remember the article a few years back when customers details were being sold to marketing companies and crooks even. No Experience of this has happened in the "Homeshoring Community" and these are two good reasons why Offshoring should be abolished and also why "Homeshoring should be sought as the ideal sollution" also regulatory bodies like the FSA struggle to prosecute anyone in a different country and its a get out clause for many companies. This should not be allowed and again this is why "Homeshoring" is the ideal sollution.

A combination of Home Sourcing and Sourcing from overseas countries is an excellent suggestion. In case, the firms really wish to cut down costs further, they should consider Home Sourcing from India. In India, a Medical Transcriptionist earns about $300 - $500 per month. So, in case you contract to hire a transcriptionist to work from home, it will work out to about $2 -3 per hour. A real winning formula. Especially the small firms in US (heard that there are about 25 million small businesses in US) and similar numbers in Europe can explore Home Sourcing from India to provide them the true cost advantage.
