If everything is look prosperous for Walgreens then why are they going to eliminate most HMO and PPO health insurance coverage for its employees by the end of the year? Employees who rely on health insurance, especially one coverage they have paid for years, are soon going to be without health insurance. Walgreens prides itself on their benefits for employees.

Another service that can be provided to expedite service and improve patient satisfaction, is to enable communications by email instead of having to come in, or even by phone. Its much more convenient and cost effective, and allows for more information to be exchanged without causing delays or a backlog at the front desk. There are free and HIPAA compliant online services such as www.housedoc.us that can be used by both doctors and nurses for that purpose.
