Financial-services firm Comerica Inc. has named Karen Parkhill as a vice chairman; she will also become finance chief after the company files its 10-Q for the third quarter. As CFO she will replace Elizabeth Acton, who plans to retire in April. Previously, Parkhill was CFO of the commercial banking business at JP Morgan Chase and Co.

OTC Markets Group has selected Wendy Fraulo to lead the finance function. She has spent the past nine years at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she most recently was a senior manager in M&A transaction services.

Accessory marketer Coach Inc. has named Jane Nielsen CFO, effective September 1. She takes over from Michael Devine III, who said earlier this year that he would retire in August. Formerly, Nielsen headed finance at PepsiCo Beverages Americas and the Global Nutrition Group at PepsiCo Inc.

CoreLogic has appointed Frank Martell to lead finance, effective August 29. He joins the analytics and information provider from Western Institutional Review Board, where he was president and CEO.

David Binder has been appointed to the top finance spot at online diamond and jewelry retailer Blue Nile Inc. He comes to the company from InfoSpace Inc., where he has been CFO and treasurer since 2008.

Metasearch product developer InfoSpace Inc. has named Eric Emans interim CFO. He replaces David Binder, who is leaving to become head of finance at Blue Nile Inc. (see above). Emans was corporate controller at InfoSpace from 2006 until 2008, and has been chief accounting officer since that time.

John Castle will add to his responsibilities as finance chief of Aventine Renewable Energy Holdings Inc. by adding the post of chief operating officer. Before joining Aventine, his titles included CFO of Rohn Industries and CFO and secretary of White Energy.

Westec Intelligent Surveillance, a remote video monitoring firm, has appointed Dan Wilson to lead the finance function. Most recently, he headed finance at GAP Broadcasting Group, and before that was CFO of American Community Newspapers.
