John Morphy plans to retire as CFO, treasurer, and secretary of human-resources and payroll services provider Paychex Inc. at the end of the year. Efrain Rivera, a former CFO of Bausch & Lomb, has been named CFO and treasurer, effective June 1.
Footwear manufacturer Crocs Inc. has promoted Jeff Lasher to the top finance spot. He has been principal accounting officer and interim principal financial officer since January, and corporate controller since 2009.
CFO Matthew Roberts has been promoted to president and CEO of OpenTable Inc., effective June 1. Roberts joined the online restaurant-reservation provider in 2005 as CFO, and replaces Jeffrey Jordan, who will become executive chairman.
The ServiceMaster Co. has named David Martin interim finance chief. He succeeds Steven Martin, who has resigned. David Martin has been controller since 2007 and chief accounting officer since last November.
R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. has promoted Daniel Leib to lead the finance function. He takes over from Miles McHugh, who has resigned. Leib has been at the printing company since 2004 and has held several finance positions, including senior vice president – treasury, mergers & acquisitions and investor relations.
Timothy Page has been named finance chief of CAI International Inc., a lessor and manager of intermodal freight containers. Most recently, Page was CFO of Port Logistics Group.
Commercial Metals Co. has appointed Barbara Smith to the top finance spot, effective June 1. She comes to the company from Gerdau Ameristeel, where she also served as CFO.
