After six years as an award-winning writer and editor at CFO magazine, Tim Reason became editorial director of CFO.com in March 2006. Under his direction, the staff of CFO.com won American Business Media's Jesse H. Neal Award for best website of 2007; won the silver Eddie award for Best Website of 2007 from Folio Magazine; and received honorable mention for the best B2B website of 2006, 2007, and 2008 from the American Society of Business Press Editors. Before joining CFO in April 2000, Tim co-founded and served as editor-in-chief of Energy IT, a business technology magazine for the utility industry published by The McGraw-Hill Companies. He was also a contributing editor to Global Energy Business magazine. He has a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Journalism from Boston University, and an M.S. in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
