Job Description
Will consider North East Prospects only.
This opportunity requires a professional with strong analytic and technical skills. The Director wants to see a strong educational background and performance plus a public / private mix experience in the 7 to 10 year range. An MBA or MS is desired, CPA or eligibility to become certified is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Manage period end reporting plus respond to ad-hoc analysis / reporting requests.
- Lead financial analysis projects.
- Responsible for compliance and controls enhancements / reviews.
- Review financial statements and work with auditors.
- Responsible for process improvement and support of system projects.
- Provide technical mentorship to your team.
Requirements:
- A business advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- CPA or eligible for certification is required.
- 7 to 10 years of experience with complex accounting / financial reporting.
- 3 plus years of staff leadership is required.
- Demonstrated GAAP expertise required, Big-4 experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Documented success in project management responsibilities.
- Comfortable interfacing with senior financial and business operations management.
- A financial service profile is required.
