Job Description
The Manager of Overhead Claims reports to the Director of Overhead Claims and has the responsibility for managing the preparation, review and submission of the Corporate Office Expense incurred cost claim required annually by the DoD. Therefore, the candidate must have extensive Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Practice knowledge. They must also have a detailed knowledge and ability to manipulate data within the SAP accounting system for the purpose of accessing data, evaluating complex transactions, creating reports and discerning allowable from unallowable costs. They will also review all other Corporate-wide incurred cost claims submitted annually to the DoD e.g. Group Insurance, State Tax, Pensions, etc. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating responses to the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requests as well other related requests from the Defense Contract Executive (DCE) as relates to incurred costs. Once the DCAA audit reports are finalized, the Manager of Overhead Claims works with the Director to negotiate the settlement of all of the Corporate incurred cost claims with the DCE.Basic Qualifications: BA degree and 10 years of government accounting experiencere. The candidate must have experience managing professional personnel. They must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. The job requires proficient skill in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Requirements: CPA
