Job Description
My client is a well known Global Manufacturing Company.
They are looking for a Senior Auditor to join there Management rotation group. This candidate will be in the Audit group for 2 years and then rotate out into one of the Finance Groups.
This position involves heavy travel which will include domestic and international travel.
You must have Big 4 experience and manufacturing experience.
The scope of the work to be performed is:
The review of the previous audit report, work papers and implementation status of the findings and recommendations
Discussions with Division and Corporate personnel involved in the specific areas of their assignments
Reviews of any financial or other report from the location
Development of the audit scope and focus plus assignment of staff responsibilities during the audit
During the audit responsibilities includes:
Meeting with the location management
Meeting with the local representatives of the internal auditors to review their latest audit report, note any exceptions identified and to ensure their inclusion in the audit program
Determine, in conjunction with the audit manager, the adequacy of controls for the safeguarding of assets, compliance with
Company policies and procedures. He/she must also determine compliance with local laws and Government regulations and the reliability and integrity of operation and financial information.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA or MBA strongly preferred
4-5 years of relavant Public Accounting
Exposure to Manufacturing industry strongly preferred
Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time, the majority of which will be international travel
Proficiency in MS Excel: MS Word and PowerPoint
