Job Description
Controller - Large Professional Service Company
Parsippany , NJ
$165K plus Bonus
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with government contracts, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), audits, internal controls, accounting systems and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) knowledge a MUST. The Controller must have 10 + years of overall Federal contract financial management experience and a minimum of 5 years as a Controller in a government contracting operation. The controller is responsible for managing all financial and accounting functions and must have international contract management experience. Experience handling a large finance and accounting multi-site organization.
Specific expectations:
- Responsible for maintaining intercompany reconciliations, and consolidations,
- Manage reconciliation and analysis of all accounts
- Development of Budgets and Forecasts
- Responsible for Monthly financial reports
- Development of management reports and analysis
- Oversee internal controls and policies
- Reduce the monthly closing cycle.
- Maintain bank and other relationships
- Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and related internal controls are documented, effective, and current.
