Job Description
Job Description: Company is seeking modestly experienced tax professionals (4+ years) who want to take the next step in their tax career. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a general tax background in corporate and/or public accounting tax, including tax returns and tax provisions with SALT and/ or international exposure a plus. Qualified candidates should also be able to perform research on various Federal and SALT matters. Responsibilities include: o Prepare annual tax returns/ estimates. o Perform tax research and support special projects. o Perform tax account analysis and reconciliations. o Assist with tax notices and audits. QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: o Bachelors Degree in Accounting or similar field required. o 4+ years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm and/ or corporate tax department. o Understanding of FAS 109. o Solid Working Knowledge and Understanding of Tax Return Preparation, Process and Associated Documentation o Key Skills: Team player with excellent attention to detail, problem solving / analytical abilities, research skills and willingness to learn. o PC proficient with experience in Excel and various tax application software (e.g., o FAST- TAX/ InSource and online tax research tools).
