Description

Responsible for assisting management within an assigned area (e.g., business unit or function area). In conjunction with other senior management, formulates and implements the operational risk management policies, procedures and standards. Identifies risks to which the firm is exposed, implements measures to prevent, eliminate or mitigate losses, and monitors outcomes/risk levels for all product areas of operation. May direct risk management staff in the development and maintenance of background information and analysis projects. Represents assigned area on all operational risk management matters requiring review by more senior management. Incumbents typically have over eight years of risk management experience.

This position will be responsible for understanding, investigating, and driving improvement in the improvement of treasury risk mitigation processes and controls. Specifically:

• Product level risk evaluation...investigation of current product control gaps in operation of the product or mitigation steps available
• Risk & operational control...developing new controls or routines for filling identified gaps, to include driving project teams to create such processes and routines
• Quality assurance...metrics which demonstrate knowledge and control of key risks
• Analytics & reporting... Proactive analysis of usage / behavior / events to drive warning flags, triggers, and "control limits" that will directly improve risk mitigation while permitting normal variation
• Tech/initiative support...Subject Matter Expert on treasury product risk, capable of driving, leading, engaging a team in corrective actions, research, or new designs. Willing and able to lead self-identified audit teams to completion.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of Change experience
• 1+ year of Risk experience
• 5+ years of Treasury Product experience with a risk/compliance focus
• Subject Matter Expert for Treasury Product Risk and risk mitigation
• Greenbelt certification
• Proven experience leading a project from execution to resolution
