SBA Business Development Officer

Job Description
Responsible for developing and managing national SBA programs. Develops strategies to originate SBA loans in the marketplace. Calls on and develops a referral network with commercial real estate brokers, business brokers, business/professional associations, accountants, lawyers, etc. to solicit SBA loan opportunities. Presents the company’s loan capabilities. Structures complex SBA loan proposals, completes initial underwriting and prepares credit package. Responsible for the overall success and growth of assigned sales territory. Responsible for the sales life cycle, including lead generation and sourcing, loan policies and structure, product knowledge and financial analysis. Tenured, seasoned and proven performer sales role for an assigned territory.
Typically produces between $10-15MM in loan volume/year on a consistent basis depending on assigned market.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of SBA Lending sales experience required
Demonstrated high performance record in sales/quota attainment
Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
Good credit skills
Proficient with Microsoft programs including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong organization skills and multi-tasking abilities
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
