Brief Description of Role

Our national practice assists clients in providing data analytics and information management services. These services cover the following main areas:

• Internal Audit
• External Audit
• Forensics
• Management information reporting
• Data Quality
• Data migration review

Managing data analysts that are delivering on engagements as described above. Scoping and designing solutions based on the areas above.

Enhancing, managing and leading the IMAS business in terms of strategy and operational activities. Selling the analytics service and products into the market place.

Key Responsibilities

• Practise Management

• Working onsite at clients,
• Client expectation management.
• Subject Matter Specialist.
• Liaising with clients in terms of specific data requirements for analytics to be performed.
• Business Development
• Innovate new IMAS go-to-market services
• Project management
• Client account management
• Budgeting and costing
• Allocation of resources
• Project Planning
• Managing deliverables
• Client ownership / management
• Designing solutions for clients
• Reviewing programs written in SAS and SQL,
• Reviewing final reports to be delivered
• Conducting data reviews to determine data quality / integrity, investigate fraud, data clean-ups, migrations, etc.
• Presenting findings to the clients

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have

• Qualification in entry level programming.
• Bcom Informatics with active interest in programming / BSC with active interest in business.
• Management degree / MBA
• 6 - 15 years business experience

Skills & Behavioural Attributes

• ERP / Data Quality / Analytical Solutions specialist skill
• Experience in one or more of the following: SAS / SQL / ACL or other relevant 4gl language
• Logical thinker and problems solver
• Solid management skill
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Project Management experience - multiple engagements
• Business development experience (targets - good track record)
• Solid understanding of business processes
• Candidate would be at an advantage if they have experience in SAP or Oracle data analysis.
