AP Process Controls Manager

Job Description

 This position is responsible for directing and managing the Control and Analysis team within AP. This team is made up of twelve individuals that are responsible for payment disbursements, Account reconciliations, 1099 reporting, returned check processing, and the AP master file.

The management of the Accounts Payable staff includes hiring, training, assigning and directing the work flow of the staff. In addition, the Accounts Payable Manager is required to establish internal controls and procedures to protect the assets of the company and determine new controls or procedures that address the growth of the company.


This position interacts on a regular basis with upper management and external customers as well as other internal customer departments to integrate solutions that meet the company’s goals both financially and operationally. Other responsibilities include approval of journal entries, account reconciliations, and month end closing deadlines, and participation in the audit process.

Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of international,
U.S. or local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This
includes the ability to apply these principles and determine compliance
with the principles.


Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience: At least 5 years


Software: SAP Heavily Preferred
