Job Description
National Insurance company seeking Underwriting Manager for their growing Voluntary Benefits Division. A great opportunity for a proven underwriting manager with experience in voluntary benefits to grow and shape this department. This position will have between 5-10 direct reports to start. Product line includes Supplemental Health, Critical Illness Coverage, Cancer, Accident Insurance, Disability Coverage, Life Insurance, Vision Care, Dental, and more. This is a working manager who will be leading by example in this profitable specialty arena. The ability to influence others and get underwriting results that are profitable is “key”. This person will hit the ground running.
Ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced environment and has the confidence and experience to grow a department within a visible division. The company is stable and well respected within the industry and this is an addition to staff.
