Requirements:

Several years of paralegal or other technical work involving insurance contracts, forms and regulatory issues.

Bachelors degree preferred.

CPCU or ARM designation and experience with insurance contracts and regulatory issues a plus.

Qualified candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have the ability to conduct internet searches and analyze technical information regarding casualty insurance forms.

Must be analytical and possess quality writing skills.

Description:

Chartis has an opportunity for a Project Research Analyst within our Risk Management division.

As a Project Research Analyst for the Risk Management division, you will be responsible for the following:

Assist in initial database load of approximately 3,000 forms into a new computer application, the Coverage Selection Tool.

Research and analyze thousands of policy forms and endorsements presently in use through Risk Management Group Regulatory Underwriting Officer.

Draft detailed instructions for users as to what each form cavers and when to use it.

Serve as a "gatekeeper" for ongoing maintenance of the Coverage Selection Tool forms database, involving about 20 form changes per week.

Review forms, classify, research, and draft issuing guidelines as needed.

Work on designated projects such as reviewing and updating content on the Risk Management Group website, under the supervision of Risk Management Group home office personal.
