Description


Senior level associate who provides advice to clients with complex financial needs. A PCA focuses on sales to new and existing High Net Worth HNW clients. PCAs generally will have an in depth knowledge of one or two of the following areas: investments, credit, banking, trust and wealth transfer and a general understanding of the other areas. Using this knowledge, a PCA will help facilitate the integrated delivery of our services for investments, credit, fiduciary and other banking services. A PCA will usually have at least 7 years of experience with HNW clients. A PCA will also have Series 7, 63 and 65 (or Series 7 and 66) licenses. A PCA II may manage clients with more complex needs than a PCA I.

Key Resposibilities

  • The PCA serves both wealth creators (such as business owners or entrepreneurs), with sophisticated investment needs (both traditional and alternative) and high net worth clients ($10mm+) whose needs gravitate more toward estate planning.
  • Responsible for new client acquisition and development; managing expanding existing relationships and building an external and internal network of contacts to derive new clients.
  • Manages client profitability and develops a profitable book of business by designing and implementing various strategies based on the needs and goals of each client relationship.
  • Sells and advises across five broad areas: credit, trust, investments (traditional and alternative) wealth transfer, banking.
  • Partners with teammates and other internal bank specialists/resources for additional investment, fiduciary, credit, financial planning expertise to provide a full array of products and services to the client.
  • Guides new clients to appropriate service and price levels
  • Handles all internal leads effectively
  • Provides informal coaching to develop future Private Client Advisers, focusing on the Private Client Representative (PCR) and the MDA
  • Play a leadership role in the community where he/she works


 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience or comparable knowledge
  • Demonstrated success in high net worth sales
  • Series 7, 63 & 65 (or Series 7 & 66)
  • CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM, or JD helpful to have
  • Continuing education requirement (TBD)
  • Excellent business development skills
  • Strong ability and proven success in sales to HNW clients
  • Depth of knowledge of investments, credit, trust and fiduciary and depository products and services
  • Extraordinary communication skills
  • Internal accreditation (Leading with Advice)
