Job Description
A National CPA firm is looking for a Tax Manager with hedge fund/investment partnership experience.
The Tax Manager will be responsible for providing tax consulting services to clients such as tax research, tax planning and review tax compliance from the staff that is on the client engagement.
This is a great opportunity for a Tax Manager to expand their project management responsibility to the overall client engagement as opposed to just being responsible for a piece of the engagement. You will be the direct contact to the client and will have a staff to assist in completing the consulting services and will have direct access to the Tax Leaders to discuss the tax related issues and/or support.
Qualifications:
Undergrad in Accounting/Finance
CPA and/or JD and/or Masters in Taxation
5+ years tax experience
Must have Partnership, Corporate and Individual tax experience
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
Experience with financial services is preferred
My client will consider someone who is at the heavy Sr Associate level but must have supervisory experience of staff and can demonstrate leadership ability. They will train and mentor the right candidate.
In addition, I have several other CPA firms in the NY Metro region looking for the same qualities above.Job Requirements
