Job Description
International Tax Specialist
This role is dedicated specifically to the international tax reporting and compliance of over 100 foreign entities. The candidate will also provide support with various global tax planning initiatives and transfer pricing reviews.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Preparation of Form 5471 for controlled foreign corporations, including indemnification of Subpart F income
-FAS 109- Providing assistance with international income tax provision reviews including effective tax rate analysis, assessment of deferred tax assets and liabilities, and review of US GAAP accruals.
-International Tax Research- perform US international and non-US tax research initiatives
-Non-US Tax Audits-Provide assistance with developing audit defense strategies for non-US income tax audits
-Tax Planning Initiatives-provide assistance with corporate restructurings and international tax planning initiatives
-Transfer pricing reviews- provide assistance with transfer pricing reviews
Basic qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
-5 years of tax compliance and reporting experience with a large corporation or a public accounting firm
-Must be analytical, self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
-FAS 109-General awareness of the international portions of quarterly and annual FAS 109 income tax provision calculation
-Previous experience working in a fast paced, team environment
Preferrred qualifications:
-CPA
-MBA
-Big 4 experience
