I cannot wait to agree with T J. I too agree that relentless offshoring could not only harm the outsourcing country but also creates a telent shortage in the receiving country.. but in any case I found this website to have some useful articles about job loss and fidning another one.. http://www.officejobuk.com

Not sure that benefits can be really accountable; the costs decrease (salary) is immediate but what's about the internal costs after the transfer ?
to manage the interface between other activities and the ourtsourcing company, and necessary operations when system fails.
what is very important is to accept human costs investment when you study and start the outsourced activities.

It seems no one is looking at outsourcing CEOs. These are very highly compensated jobs that could easily be handled by very well qualified personell in low cost countries. I have been impressed with the education and experience that business people in Asia, especially China and India possess. With the global economy, technology, transportation and the accendency of Asia, the CEO can still be close to the customers, if necessary, no matter where he's located. I'm sure that many of these well qualified business people would be more than satisfied with compensation that is well less than that of the bloated amounts currently provided to US executives.
