The last part of this article discusses security and how smart cards "can" be more secure; however, there has yet to be a manufacture that has developed advanced, biometric security-enabled smart cards.
Check out e-Smart Technologies who has partnered with mYbi in Korea. They have an on-card biometric enabled fingerprint sensor.
