CFO at German biotech company among missing in New York.

Recovery efforts continue today in New York, following a night of cold rain and disappointment. Corporate managers and company employees continue to feel the anguish of not knowing the fate of some of their co-workers.

German biotech company Lion Bioscience reported it has not heard from CFO Klaus Sprockamp since his visit to New York on Tuesday for a meeting at the World Trade Center. Sprockamp is also COO of the Frankfurt-based company.

In other CFO news: As expected, German drug maker Bayer AG confirmed the appointment of CFO Werner Wenning as the company's next CEO. Wenning will succeed Manfred Schneider.

Canadian data-storage company NetDriven Solutions Inc. has hired Mark Kohler as CFO. Kohler joins the Calgary, Alberta-based company from Personus Inc., a private e-business company, where he served as chief financial officer.
